You get around £10 – £15 worth of food.
What kind of produce do you have?
We stock everything you need for a healthy balanced diet.
Who can use the pantry ?
Anyone can use the pantry, you do not have to meet a criteria
Where are you located?
We currently have 4 shops open in Glasgow Govan, Ruchazie, North West Pantry & Parkhead. With a further 2 stores in progress in Castlemilk & Possil. There is 1 Pantry in Greenock. You can find the store locator on our website.
The model is new and was started in Glasgow, however it is our ambition to have the shops in other areas too.
What are your opening times?
The stores all set their own opening times, these are displayed on our website.
Where does your food come from?
Our food comes from FareShare Glasgow and the West, which is a franchise of the national organisation FareShare UK. FareShare collects surplus food and redistributes it to community food organisations including the pantries.
To make a pantry work, a large or above FareShare membership must be secured, this is done through an application process to FareshareGWS.
It should be noted that TSPN has no control over FareShareGWS membership process.
How do I access the community bus?
..You access the community bus is a simple phone call 0141 778 2042 and make arrangements with community transport
Who can use the transport
The transport is for members of the pantry you will need to quote your pantry membership number when booking.
How the service operates?
The slot must be booked 24 hours in advance and its door to door service.
